Midas is a mentoring service for young people from age 11-16 that are in secondary education. It is a specialist service for YP that are:-
• at risk of exclusion, or of offending or antisocial behaviour
• displaying behaviour that raises concern
Currently there is no waiting list, so young people can access the service straight away. The young person can be referred to Lifelink by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephoning us on 0141 552 4434, and specify that it is a Midas referral.
We have 2 mentors that work out of all the schools in north west Glasgow, they meet with the YP weekly, and may also engage with the YP parents and pastoral care teacher. The service is client centred and our interventions are tailored to meet the needs of the individual.
If anyone would like to discuss the Midas service any further, please call Greta on 0141 552 4434
